To promote traditional medicines into the state where the new WHO(World Health Organization) global center is going to be set up?

The World Health Organization(WHO) announced that it will set up a Global Center for Traditional Medicines in India, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing confidence that just like the country has emerged as the ‘pharmacy of the world’, the WHO institution will become the center for global wellness.

On the occasion of 5th Ayurveda Day, Prime Minister Modi dedicated two future-ready Ayurveda institutions in National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA) Jaipur, (Rajasthan) and The Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA), Jamnagar, (Gujarat) via video conferencing.
