    The National Statistical Office (NSO), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MOSPI) is responsible for the compilation and publication of national income statistics.  Initially the data was published by Central Statistics Office. However, MOSPI passed an order on 23 May, 2019 to merge the Central Statistics Office (CSO) and National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) into the National Statistical Office (NSO).
