The concept of TReDS to facilitate the financing of trade receivables of MSMEs was introduced by the RBI in 2014. As of 2025, the RBI, has issued licence to five players – RXIL, Invoicemart , M1Xchange , C2FO Factoring Solutions and KredX . As per the government directive, all companies with turnover exceeding Rs. 250 Crores shall register themselves on the TReDS platform before 31 st March 2025.
