Rs.15,000 crore will be made available to implement the Mission in the next 3 years under the Development Action Plan for the Scheduled Tribes. As per Census 2011, there are a total of 75 PVTGs out of 705 Scheduled Tribes, spread over 17 states and one Union Territory (UT).
