India scored 34.2 in adequacy, 44.9 in sustainability, and 58.4 in integrity, with an overall 44 in the 2024 study. This gives India an overall Grade of D. India’s lower score was due to the decrease in the net pension replacement rate, which shows the adequacy of retirement income in percentage compared to an individual’s pre-retirement income.
