Who chairs the Empowered Committees on MSMEs at the Regional Offices of the Reserve Bank of India?

The Empowered Committees on MSMEs are constituted at the Regional Offices of the Reserve Bank of India and are chaired by the Regional Directors. These committees include representatives from various stakeholders, such as the SLBC Convenor, senior officers from banks with significant MSME financing, SIDBI Regional Office representatives, the State Government's Director of MSME or Industries, MSME Association representatives, and officers from SFC/SIDC. The committees meet periodically to review MSME financing progress, address the revival and rehabilitation of stressed units, and coordinate efforts to ensure a smooth flow of credit to the sector
