What is meant by the jargon CSR? 

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), is a term used in management, whereby companies incorporate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and interactions with their stakeholders. CSR has come to be one of the key concepts of Business Ethics and Sustainability. They have different meanings and focus on different aspects of the organization. It aims at promoting fairness, transparency and accountability in the functioning of the company and to have effective control over the functioning of the company. An independent Board is established consisting of adequate number of independent and non-executive members who regularly monitor the company performance and procedures to sub-serve the interests of all stakeholders and protect the interest of any minority stakeholders.
