    Bank loans to Housing sector as per limits prescribed below are eligible for priority sector classification:   1. Loans to individuals for purchase/construction of a dwelling unit per family subject to the following limits:   Note:   

    • Housing loans to banks’ own employees will not be eligible for classification under the priority sector.  
    • Housing loans which are backed by long term bonds shall not be classified under priority sector, as they are exempted from inclusion in ANBC.   
     2. Loans for repairs to damaged dwelling units shall be eligible for priority sector classification subject to the following limits:
