    Moreover means ‘in addition to’. It is used when there is already a piece of information given in a sentence. The sentence gives two reasons for a person not taking a house. The first reason is mentioned in the beginning of the sentence i.e the rent is very high and then the consequence is mentioned i.e. the person will not take the house. Later in the sentence another reason or a fact is specified that is in addition to the rent being very high the distance is also much from the person’s office.
