A Although the government announce Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B it will be nowhere Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C nearly the actual value of Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D the property put up with for sale Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E All are correct Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

A- since the ‘government’ is a collective noun, ‘announces’ is correct. D- the adverb ‘nearly’ should be replaced with the preposition ‘near’. E- the phrase ‘put up with’ means ‘to tolerate’. The correct phrase that should be used here is ‘put up’, which means ‘display a notice’. Although the government announces market value, known as the guidance value, it will be nowhere near the actual value of the property put up for sale.
