About SVAMITVA Survey of villages and mapping with improvised technology in village areas scheme. Nodal ministry is Ministry of Panchayati Raj. In the States, the Revenue Department Land Records Department will be the Nodal Department and shall carry out the scheme Launch. CORS Continuously Operating Reference Stations network provides regional positioning service. It plays a major role in achieving centimetre accuracy positioning. As the Land and land records are State Subjects , States need to sign an MoU with the Survey of India for implementation of the SVAMITVA scheme. So far, 26 StatesUTs have signed MoU.
