    Solution

    Dhurrin in the stomach of animals is converted into hydrocyanic acid. Thus, when young plants (about 5kg) of sorghum are fed to animals, it causes carcinogenic death of cow. This is known as 'prussic acid poisoning' or 'sorghum poisoning'.
