SIDBI Assistant Manager GD/Interview

As mentioned above, this year, the SIDBI Grade A selection process 2024 only involves a Group Discussion and Interview. The SIDBI Grade A GD and Interview will take place in the following manner-

  • Upon receiving online applications from candidates, SIDBI will conduct a preliminary screening to shortlist eligible candidates based on prescribed qualifications, suitability/experience as declared in the application, and supporting documents. The candidature, post preliminary screening and without document verification, will be provisional for all Posts/Grades and subject to verification with the originals.
  • Subsequently, the Bank will administer an online Psychometric Test or a suitable test to assess shortlisted candidates' personality, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, efficiency, willingness to work nationwide, and suitability for the post. Test findings may be presented to the interview panel for a comprehensive assessment.
  • Following the Psychometric Test, candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview, both taking place in various SIDBI Offices on the same day.
  • Group Discussion and Interview carry a maximum of 100 marks each, with minimum qualifying marks determined by the Bank. Please note that only the candidates meeting the minimum marks in the Group Discussion will have their Interview marks considered for merit.
  • Meeting the minimum qualification and experience does not guarantee participation in Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview (PI). The Bank's decision to call candidates for these processes is final, and no correspondence will be entertained.
  • In shortlisting candidates, the Bank may consider additional qualifications, greater experience, and the level of responsibilities handled. Meeting minimum qualification and experience criteria does not automatically entitle a candidate to Group Discussion and Interview participation; the Bank will shortlist candidates based on decided criteria.
  • The Bank reserves the right to call any number of candidates for the selection process at its discretion and/or as per its requirements. Shortlisted candidates will be based on qualification, experience, and overall suitability, and the most suitable candidates will be called for the selection process. Mere eligibility or admission to Group Discussions/Interview does not guarantee selection.
  • Eligibility/admission to Group Discussions/Interview/passing in Group Discussion/interview does not confirm the Bank's satisfaction beyond doubt about the candidate's eligibility. The Bank can reject a candidate's candidature at any recruitment stage if found ineligible or if false information/documents are provided. Fees paid by ineligible candidates may be forfeited, and if appointed, such candidates may be summarily removed from the Bank's services.
