LIC Assistant Eligibility Criteria


 After the release of the LIC Notification it is necessary to check whether a candidate is eligible for filling the LIC Assistant online application form. The eligibility criteria - education qualification , age and other details of the LIC Assistant Exam is mentioned below-

LIC Assistant Educational Criteria

To be eligible for filling the LIC Assistant Exam form, candidate is required to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognized university. Further there is some educational relaxation for ex-servicemen. The detailed educational criteria for LIC Assistant exam 2021 can be inferred from the table below-

For Ex-Servicemen HSC (10+2+3 pattern): who have put in atleast 10 years service. 

Matric: who have put in atleast 15 Years service

LIC Assistant Age criteria

For filling LIC Assistant 2021 a candidate should be a citizen of India and should not be less than 18 years and more than 30 years as on  the mentioned date. LIC Assistant Age Relaxation

LIC provides an additional age relaxation facility to some reserved categories. The relaxation is on the upper age limit of the candidates. Categories like SC/ST/OBC etc are included and will be eligible for this relaxation. The relaxation years vary among all the reserved categories. The table below provides the details-
