LIC ADO Exam Pattern 2024
LIC or Life Insurance Corporation of India is the most sought-after and popular organization in India. It is also among the best places to work with. LIC announces vacancies for various posts every year and it will release the vacancies for LIC ADO soon. This post too holds a lot of importance for all job aspirants. Being an important job, you should be well prepared for the examination. To be able to qualify for an exam like LIC ADO, you should have complete information of the same. The first thing to know before you start your preparation is the ‘exam pattern’, where you will get to know what all you need to study and how do you have to attempt the test. LIC will conduct an online examination for LIC ADO 2024 which will be divided into three main phases
- Phase 1 - Prelims
- Phase 2 - Mains
- Phase 3 - Interview
The candidates who qualify for Phase 1 & 2 will be called for the Interview process. Therefore, you should try and give your best to qualify for this exam. Let's look at the exam pattern in detail.
LIC ADO Phase 1 (Prelims) Exam Pattern
To achieve your goal of becoming an LIC ADO in the year 2024, you should be well informed about all the exam related details. Phase 1 (Prelims) of LIC ADO 2024 Exam will consist of three sections: Reasoning, Numerical Ability & English Language. The sections will have separate sectional timings of 20 minutes each The total number of questions will be 100. The section of English Language will be qualifying in nature and the marks obtained will not be counted while ranking. Phase 1 will overall be a qualifying phase and the marks obtained in this phase will not be considered in the final selection after Main Exam.

LIC ADO Phase 2 (Mains) Exam Pattern
The candidates who qualify Phase 1 will have to appear in Phase 2 (Mains). Phase 2 of LIC ADO 2024 Exam will also consist of three tests. These tests will differ according to the various categories ie candidates applying from Agents and Employee Category will have only main exam whose pattern differs from other category. LIC ADO is an important examination which holds a lot of importance for the candidates who are trying to get a job in the government sector. As Phase 2 is the next step in the selection process of LIC ADO 2024 Examination, the level will surely be higher than Phase 1. Thus, you need to work hard in all the sections to qualify the sectional cut-offs along with the overall cut-offs. Refer to the tables given below for the exam pattern of different categories:

LIC ADO Phase 2 (Mains) Exam Pattern - Open Market Category
The Phase 2 Exam (Mains) of LIC ADO will be an online test with multiple choice questions. The exam will be objective which will consist of three sections:
- Reasoning Ability & Numerical Ability
- General Knowledge,Current Affairs and English Language with special emphasis on Grammar and Vocabulary
- Insurance and Financial Marketing Awareness with special emphasis on knowledge of Life Insurance and Financial Sector
All the questions will carry equal marks and equal number of questions. The total timing will be 120 minutes. Candidates will have to qualify all sections in order to score well and secure a place in the final list.
LIC ADO Phase 2 (Mains) Exam Pattern- Agents Category
The Phase 2 of LIC ADO Exam 2024 for ‘Agents’ category will be an online objective test which will also consist of multiple choice questions from three sections as follows:

The number of questions in all the sections will be different just like the total marks. Maximum marks will be allotted to the section of Insurance. The composite time duration will be 120 minutes. The total number of questions and marks will be same, i.e. 150
LIC ADO Phase II (Mains) Exam Pattern- Employee Category
The Phase II of LIC ADO Exam 2024 for ‘Employee’ category will also be an online test with multiple choice questions. The candidates will have to choose the correct option of their choice. You need to attempt maximum number of questions which could help you attain the score required to qualify the phase. This phase will also consist of three sections:
