IFSCA Grade A Eligibility Criteria 2024 

The International Financial Services Centre Authority or the IFSCA has released the IFSCA Notification for 2024. The notification is for the IFSCA Grade A Exam which will recruit young and eligible candidates to join the International Financial Services Centres Authority, headquartered in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat. Like last year, the official announcement of IFSCA recruitment notification 2024 for (Grade A) Assistant Manager post was released on 27 March. The deadline for the online application is from March 28, 2024 to April 21, 2024. The notification will provide aspiring candidates with valuable details about the application procedure along with the IFSCA Grade A exam dates, eligibility criteria, IFSCA Grade A syllabus and exam pattern, salary structure and more.

IFSCA Grade A Educational Criteria 2024 

Candidates need to have completed a Master’s Degree with specialization in Statistics/ Economics/ Commerce/ Business Administration (Finance) / Econometrics. or bachelor's degree in information technology/ computer science/ master's in computer application/ information technology. or Bachelor’s degree in commerce appearing in “CA, CFA, CS and ICWA or Bachelor’s degree in Law or in any other discipline from a recognized University. IFSCA Grade A Age Criteria 2024 

Along with the minimum educational qualifications, meeting the age requirements both are important. The age of the candidates must not exceed 30 years as of the date specified in the notification, to apply for the recruitment. This year, the date has been specified as 30 years on February 1, 2024.  The age criteria for the IFSCA Assistant Manager position are outlined below by IFSCA. 

IFSCA Grade A 2024 Age Relaxation 

Apart from the above-mentioned age criteria, the IFSCA notification also provides certain relaxation with respect to the upper age limit for some categories, as per the government norms. All the reserved categories that are mentioned in the official IFSCA Grade A notification 2024, will be entitled to receive the relaxation in age while applying for this post. 

Important Points 

A Post Graduate Diploma in any discipline will be accepted as an educational requirement for the General stream, provided the same is recognized as equivalent to a Master’s degree in that discipline by Govt. of India. The onus to provide the necessary documentation in this regard shall be on the candidates. 

• The upper age limit prescribed above will be eligible for relaxation for certain categories. 
• Candidates must not fail to follow the specified IFSCA cut-off date to satisfy all eligibility criteria. 
• Candidates who come under the OBC category but are considered to be part of the "Creamy Layer" are not eligible for OBC reservation. 

Work Experience 

The IFSCA Grade A exam is a great opportunity for fresh graduates because work experience is not mentioned as a necessary requirement for the Assistant Manager post. In short, candidates who have recently completed their graduation can apply for the position based on their educational qualifications. Nevertheless, candidates with additional qualifications or specialized skills will have an added advantage.
