FCI Assistant Grade 3 Eligibility Criteria 2024
In its latest job announcement, the Food Corporation of India (FCI) has released the eligibility criteria for different positions. Candidates should be familiar with the eligibility criteria for the various posts in FCI Recruitment 2024. Detailed eligibility criteria for the various positions are listed below, including educational qualifications and age limits. Below is a table that provides an overview of candidates. Please note, that the cut-off age for all the age, education and experience requirements is August 1, 2022.
FCI Assistant Grade 3 Educational Criteria 2024
Before you apply for the FCI 2024 examination, you need to first ensure that you possess the required educational qualification. The required educational qualification will vary on the basis of the type of posts that you have applied for. Apart from the basic educational qualification, a candidate is also expected to possess some experience for some of the posts.

| J.E. (Electrical Mechanical) | Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering + 1 year experience in the case of Diploma holders only. |
| Steno. Grade- II | Graduate along with O' level qualification of DOEACC and speed of 40 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m. in typing and shorthand respectively or Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application with speed of 40 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m. in typing and shorthand respectively. |
| AG-II (Hindi) | Essential: 1. Degree of a recognized University with Hindi as the main subject. 2. Proficiency in English. 3. 1-year experience of translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa. Desirable:- Post Graduate qualification in Hindi. |
| Typist (Hindi) | (1) Graduation or equivalent. (2) 30 W.P.M speed in Hindi Typing. (3) Preference will be given to the candidates knowing bilingual typing (English and Hindi) and Computer knowledge. |
| AG-III (General) | Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in the use of computers. |
| AG-III (Accounts) | Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized University with proficiency in the use of computers. |
| AG-III (Technical) | B.Sc. in Agriculture from a recognized University. Or B.Sc. with any of the following subjects from a recognized University: Botany / Zoology / Bio-Technology/Bio-Chemistry/ Microbiology / Food Science. Or B. Tech / BE in Food Science/Food Science and Technology/Agricultural Engineering / Bio-Technology from a recognized University / an institution approved by AICTE. 2. Proficiency in use of computers. |
| AG-III (Depot) | Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers. |
FCI Assistant Grade 3 Age criteria 2024
Apart from the educational criteria which a candidate needs to follow in order to fill up the application form for FCI 2024 Recruitment, it is also necessary for a candidate to follow certain age criteria where FCI mentions the minimum and maximum age limit for a candidate to be eligible for the FCI Assistant Grade III 2024 Exam.

FCI Assistant Grade 3 Age Relaxation 2024
FCI also provides relaxation with respect to age for certain categories of candidates like SC, ST, OBC, and others. The relaxation and reservation mentioned in the notification will not be applicable to OBC candidates who fall within the creamy layer.
