Highlights 2021
Agriculture Insurance Company of India (AIC) has released an official notification to recruit Management trainees (Agriculture Sciences, Information Technology, Legal and Accounts) and Hindi Officer (Scale 1). IT officer is one such post through which 30 vacancies will be filled. This is the total MT vacancy that includes IT posts as well. You can apply for this exam till December 13, 2021. Exam Pattern
The Agriculture Insurance Company of India exam for the IT discipline will be held in two phases as mentioned below.
- Phase 1- Online Written examination (Objective & Descriptive) - 150 marks
- Phase 2- Interview - 50 marks
Agriculture Insurance Company of India Exam Pattern will be of two and a half hours duration. You will be shortlisted based on your cumulative scores in the written exams and interviews.
Online Written exam
Agriculture Insurance Company of India (IT Officer) exam pattern (Objective & Descriptive) comprises a total of 150 marks. You will be allotted 150 minutes to solve the entire question paper. This includes the descriptive paper as well. There will be six sections (5 objective and 1 descriptive). Personal Interview
You will be called for an interview if you qualify for the minimum percentage required in the online examination. The weightage of the personal interview is 50 marks. Any request regarding change in date, Centre of the interview will not be entertained.
Note: the number of candidates that will be called for interviews will be about three times the number of vacancies to be filled in subject to the availability of successful candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
While applying for the AIC IT officer, it is pivotal to check the complete AIC IT Officer eligibility criteria 2024. The basic qualification required for the IT post is a BE/B. Tech (Computer Science/IT) or MCA (Masters in Computer Applications). The age criteria to apply for an IT officer in AIC is 21- 30 years. The age will be counted as of November 01, 2021. Please note that the Agriculture Insurance Company of India will be providing certain upper age relaxation for the reserved category candidates.
Salary
An AIC IT Management Trainee’s initial salary will be Rs 40,000/- for the first year and Rs 42, 500 in the second year. You will be on probation for two years after selection. Along with this, you will be required to give an undertaking -cum-Guarantee Bond for a minimum period of four years including the probation period. In case you resign during the probation period, you will have to pay the total salary received plus Rs. 50,000/- towards partial cost of training.

The date for the Agriculture Company of India IT post has not been released yet. The exam month is however mentioned in the notification.
