A. SEBI Grade A Officer (Assistant Manager) 2018 has come out with 120 vacancies across five streams (General, Legal, IT, Engineering-Civil and Engineering-Electrical). One has to fill out the application through online mode ONLY from September 15, 2018 to October 07, 2018. One may take a print of the application by October 22, 2018 and keep for own reference only. A. Under the General Stream, you can apply for SEBI Grade A Officer (Assistant Manager) 2018 if you hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law or Engineering streams or a Master’s Degree in any discipline. You may also apply under General Stream if you are a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Chartered Financial Analyst or Cost & Work Accountant. You may also apply under other streams like: • Legal Stream (if you have a Bachelor’s degree in Law), • IT Stream (if you are a Graduate in engineering (electrical/ electronic/ electronics and communication/ information technology/ computer science) OR Masters in Computers Application OR Graduate in any discipline with post graduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in computers/ information technology • Engineering (Civil) Stream (if you have Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering) • Engineering (Electrical) Stream (if you have Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering) Candidates who have appeared for the final examinations and waiting for the results are eligible to appear for the Phase I, Phase II and Phase III of selection process. However, the offer to join SEBI to the selected candidates shall be subject to production of necessary documents evidencing successfully obtaining the requisite qualification.
A. Yes. Candidates are permitted to apply for posts in multiple streams as per their educational qualifications. Separate on-line application for each stream will have to be submitted and requisite fees to be paid for each application. The recruited officers may be posted to various departments of SEBI, irrespective of their streams.
A. Yes, a candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years as on August 31, 2018 i.e., candidate must have been born on or after September 01, 1988. The age limit is relaxable under certain conditions. Please refer to the detailed notification for details pertaining to relaxation of age.

Even if they don’t have any doubt themselves, the discussion that happens over doubts of others’ is also very enriching and helpful in exam preparation. Sometimes very important points are discussed as part of these discussions. However, in case of genuine reasons for not being able to attend a class, we may decide to share the recording of the class, on case to case basis.

The same will be suggested during the course to supplement your knowledge. Likewise, the course will cover General Awareness, but still reading a good national daily newspaper is highly recommended.
