कर्मवाच्य क्रिया के उस रूपान्तर को कर्मवाच्य कहते हैं , जिससे वाक्य में कर्म की प्रधानता का बोध हो । सरल शब्दों में- क्रिया के जिस रूप में कर्म प्रधान हो , जिसमें केवल सकर्मक क्रिया के वाक्य होते है। उसे कर्मवाच्य कहते हैं। 'सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी। ' वाक्य में 'कर्मवाच्य ' है क्योंकि इस वाक्य में 'कार्रवाई ' शब्द पर बल दिया गया है।
