. Statements:Â No Dell is Asus. No Acer
is Bosch. Only a few Bosch are HP. All Acer are Asus. Conclusions: I. All HP being Asus is a possibility. II. All Bosch being HP is a possibility. III. No Acer is HP. In the question below are given four statements followed by three conclusions numbered I, II and III. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.Solution
Alternative Method: No Acer is Bosch (E) + Some Bosch are HP (I) → Some HP are not Acer (O) + All Acer are Asus (A) → All HP may be Asus (A). Hence conclusion I follows but conclusion III does not follow. Only a few Bosch are HP → Some Bosch are HP (I) and Some Bosch are nor HP (O). Hence conclusion II does not follow.
