In each question below are given two statements followed by two conclusions numbered I and II. You have to take the two given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the two given statements, disregarding commonly known facts. Give Answer:

Statements:       All phones are battery.

                             No battery is a network.

                             All network are charger.

 Conclusions:      I. No charger is a battery.

II. No phone is a network.

Solution

No battery is a network (E) + All network are charger (A) = some charger are not battery (O*). Hence, conclusion I will not follow. All phone are battery. (A) + No battery is a network (E) = No phone is a network (E). Hence, conclusion II will follow.
