Let Age of Manish's Mother = X Age of Manish = X/2 Age of Manish's father = X + 9 Age of Manish's Sister = (X/2) – 7 The age of his father is three times that of his sister ⇒ X + 9 = 3 {(X/2) – 7) ⇒ X + 9 = 3X/2 – 21 ⇒ X + 9 = 1.5X – 21 ⇒ 9 + 21 = 1.5X – X ⇒ 0.5X = 30 ⇒ X = 60. Age of Manish = X/2 = 60/2 = 30 Years.
