Let the length of the train be ‘x’ meters. According to question, => x/8 = (x + 300)/20 => 20x = 8x + 2400 => x = 200 The speed of the train = 200/8 = 25 m/s Required time taken by train to cross another platform = (200 + 250)/25 = 18 sec
