Let the initial speed of the bike be βxβ km/hr Therefore, speed of the car = 1.25x km/hr According to the question, 7 Γ 1.25x β (5x + 2 Γ 1.4x) = 38 => 8.75x β 7.8x = 38 => x = 38/0.95 = 40 km/hr
