    Solution

    Let side of 4 squares be a, b, c and d cm respectively. => a = 20/4 = 5 cm => b = 32/4 = 8 cm => c = 36/4 = 9 cm => d = 40/4 = 10 cm Perimeter of new square = a + b + c + d = 32 => side = 32/4 = 8 cm Required area = side2 = 82 = 64 cm2.
