A man bought 18 glasses for Rs.12 and sold 12 glasses for Rs 18. What is the profit percent?

To make the CP and SP of same number of article, we will take LCM of 18 and 12 i.e. 36 Given, CP of 18 glasses = Rs. 12 and SP of 12 glasses = Rs. 18 ∴ CP of 36 article = Rs. 24 and SP of 36 article = Rs. 54 Profit % = `(54-24)/24xx100=(30xx100)/24=125%`
