A Rs. 1200 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B Rs. 1000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C Rs. 1250 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D Rs. 1270 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E Rs. 1280 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Percentage profit earned on selling article ‘B’ = [(6174 – 4410)/1560] × 100 = 40% So, percentage discount given on selling article ‘A’ = 40/1.60 = 25% So, marked price of article ‘A’ = 1008/0.75 = Rs. 1344 Cost price of article ‘A’ = 1344/1.12 = Rs. 1200
