    on entertainment, 15% on rent, 40% on travelling and the rest on food. If the difference between the amount spent on travelling and the amount spent on food is Rs. 8000, then find the amount spent on entertainment.

    ATQ, Let monthly income of Sahil be Rs. ‘x’ Amount spent on education = Rs. 0.10x Amount spent on entertainment = Rs. 0.20x Amount spent on rent = Rs. 0.15x Amount spent on travelling = Rs. 0.40x Amount spent on food = x – (0.10x + 0.20x + 0.15x + 0.40x) = Rs. 0.15x According to the question, 0.40x – 0.15x = 8000 0.25x = 8000 x = Rs. 32,000 Amount spent on entertainment = 20% of 32,000 = Rs. 6,400
