    A 80 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    B 76 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    C 86 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    D 66 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    E 106 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Ratio of profit share of A to B = [x + 70 + x + 70 + 120]:[x – 40 + x – 40 + 100] = [2x + 260]:[2x + 20] According to question; (2x + 260)/(2x + 20) = 9/4 => 8x + 1040 = 18x + 180 => 10x = 860 => x = 86
