‘A’ invested Rs. 7800 for ‘x’ months while ‘B’ invested Rs. 1300 less amount than ‘A’ for (x + 3) months. If the ratio of the profits received by ‘A’ and ‘B’ is 24:25, respectively then find the value of ‘x’

According to the question, respective ratio of the profits received by ‘A’ and ‘B’ is

7800x:{6500 × (x + 3)} = 24/25

=> 5x = 4x + 12

=> x = 12
