    Given: Five consecutive even number sum= 2720 The sum of an even number let the five number be x-4, x-2, x, x+2, x+4. Now, x-4+ x-2+ x+ x+2+ x+4= 2720 5x = 2720   x = 544 then, sum of third and fifth number, x + x+4 = 544+548 = 1092 Alternate Method:   As per the question. Sum of five consecutive even number is 2720. So, the average is 2720/5=544 the middle number of the five consecutive even number which is third even number, so fifth even number is 544+4 = 548 Sum of 544+548 = 1092
