    ratio 3:2 respectively. When 90 litre of oil Q is added to the container the quantity of oil P becomes 25% of that of oil Q. Find the capacity of the container if it becomes full after addition of 90 litre of oil.
    A 225 litres Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    B 105 litres Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    C 112 litres Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    D 180 litres Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    E 135 litres Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    Let the quantity of oil in the container be 3x and 2x litres respectively. According to the question, => 3x = 0.25 × (2x + 90) => 2.5x = 22.5 => x = 9 Total capacity of the container = 3x + 2x + 90 = 135 litres.
