      A 10.3 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      B 11.3 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      C 16.3 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      D 15.3 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      Initially, Quantity of milk in the mixture = 99 × (6/11) = 54 litres Quantity of water in the mixture = 99 – 54 = 45 litres According to the question, 1.40 × (45 + 24) = 54 + 2x + 10 => 96.6 = 64 + 2x => x = 16.3
