    Question

Find the area of sector of a circle whose radius is 21

cm and angle subtended by the sector at centre of circle is 45 ° .
A 188.25 sq cm Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 164.25 sq cm Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 156.25 sq cm Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 173.25 sq cm Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

Area of sector = (A/360) X π X radius 2  (Here 'A' is the angle subtended by sector at centre)

    So, required area = (45/360) x (22/7) X 21 2  = 173.25 cm 2
