    m3 per minute in 44 minutes. If a cylindrical tank having height same as the side of a cubical tank and the curved surface area of the cylindrical tank is 1936 m2, then find the difference between the volumes of cylindrical tank and cubical tank.

    Capacity of cubical tank = 242 × 44 = 10648 m3 Let, side of cubical tank = ‘x’ m So, x3 = 10648 m3 x = 22 m So, height of cylindrical tank = 14 m Let, radius of cylindrical tank = ‘r’ m So, 2 × 22/7 × r × 14 = 1936 r = 22 m Volume of cylindrical tank =   22/7 × 22 × 22 × 14 = 13552 m3 Required difference = 13552 – 10648 = 2904 m³
