and its height is 12 cm. The drum is full of water and the water from the drum is transferred to ‘n’ cuboidal tanks having dimension 8 cm × 11 cm × 3 cm, each. Find the value of ‘n’.Solution
Radius of the base of the cylindrical drum = 14/2 = 7 cm According to the question, Volume of cylindrical drum = volume of ‘n’ cuboidal tanks Therefore, (22/7) × 7 × 7 × 12 = n × 8 × 11 × 3 Or, n = 1848/264 = 7
