      Solution

      Let the length of the cube be ‘a’ cm
      According to the question,
      4a2 = 784
      => a2 = 196
      => a = 14
      Therefore, length of the cuboid = l = 1.5 × 14 = 21 cm
      Breadth of the cuboid = b = 21 – 20 = 1 cm
      Height of the cuboid = h = 1/0.8 = 1.25 cm
      Therefore, total surface area of the cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh) = 2 × {(21 × 1) + (1 × 1.25) + (21 × 1.25)} = 97 cm2
