      B 220 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      C 240 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      D 260 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
      E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

      Solution

      Let number of dried flowers sold by shop A be β€˜x’. Number of silk flowers sold by the shop A = 0.8x According to question, => x + 0.8x = 180 => x = 100 So, number of dried flowers sold by shop A = 100 And number of silk flowers sold by the shop A = 0.8x = 80 Total number of flowers sold by shop B = 180 Γ— (100/40) = 450 Number of dried flowers sold by the shop B = 450 Γ— (20/100) = 90 Number of silk flowers sold by the shop B = 450 – 90 = 360 Number of dried flowers sold by the shop C = 7 Γ— (100/5) = 140 Number of silk flowers sold by the shop C = 360 - 120 = 240 Required difference = 360 – 80 = 280
