Speed of stream = 11x – 7x = 4x km/h Speed of boat in downstream = 11x + 4x = 15x km/h So, 15x = 300/5 = 60 Or, x = 4 Speed of boat in still water = 11 × 4 = 44 km/h Desired time = 22/44 = 30 minutes
