A 57 kg Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 55 kg Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 53 kg Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 60 kg Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

Solution

The sum of the weight of 4 persons = 50 × 4 = 200 kg Let the weight of the lightest person = ‘x’ kg The weight of the heaviest person = (x + 20) kg The sum of the weight of the remaining two persons = 50 × 2 = 100 kg According to the question, x + x + 20 + 100 = 200 2x = 80 x = 40 The weight of the heaviest person = 40 + 20 = 60 kg
