1963, if any person is disposed without his consent of immovable property otherwise then in due course of law, he or any person (through whom he has been in possession or any person claiming through him) may by suit recover possession thereof, notwithstanding any other title that may be set up in such suit. This Act may be called the Specific Relief (Amendment) Act, 2018 In section 6 of the specific Relief Act, 1963 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in sub-section (I), after the words “he or any person”, the words “through whom he has been in possession or any person” shall be  inserted.
