When did the British Government call the Indian leaders for the first Round Table Conference?

The First Round Table Conference was called in 1930 by the British Government. It was convened to discuss constitutional reforms in India after the failure of the Simon Commission. The Labour Party Government under Ramsay MacDonald decided to hold this conference at London. • The First Round Table Conference was inaugurated on 12 November 1930 and lasted till January 1931. • Indian princes, British political leaders, and delegates from different communities participated. • The Indian National Congress, however, boycotted this conference as they were engaged in the Civil Disobedience Movement led by Mahatma Gandhi.
