What is the minimum years of service as a judge in High Court required in order to be appointed as a judge in the Supreme Court of India?
A citizen of India who has been (I) judge of one high court or more (continuously), for at least five years, or (II) an advocate there, for at least ten years, or (III) a distinguished jurist, in the opinion of the president, is eligible to be recommended for appointment, a judge of the supreme court.
