    Let total number of population of city be 100, then Number of people who eat rice = 100 × 80/100 = 80 Number of people who are non-vegetarian = 80 × 90/100 = 72 Number of vegetarian people who eat rice = 80 – 72 = 8 ∴ Required percentage = 8/100 × 100 = 8%
