It is more aptly referred to as Hindu Dharma (Chakravarti, 2001), a philosophy or way of life that proposes tenants on how to live life. 4. Unlike Abrahamic religions, it has no holy book that enforces a set of commandments. 5. No one who chooses to follow the principles laid out in the philosophy is compelled to accept any specific part of it and can choose to adopt any or all elements they see fit.
