About me

Ira Gupta did her BA in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College Delhi University followed by an MA in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University. . She also has advanced diplomas in French (Alliance Francaise) and Portuguese (JNU). After a brief stint as a Probationary Officer in SBI she joined RBI as a Grade B Officer .She has over 3 decades of experience with the Reserve Bank of India and was a Chief General Manager and Ombudsman . She has experience in Operations, Foreign Exchange,Supervision (commercial banks and cooperative banks), Enforcement, Consumer Education and Protection.
