The J&K Bank conducts an online exam for the post of Banking Associate/Clerk and selects the candidates on the basis of their performance in the test. Those who get selected are designated as 'Banking Associates'. The candidates will have to initially serve a probation period of six months. A Clerk handles a variety of tasks in a bank. Some of the basic responsibilities are as follows.

Maintaining the ledger, data entry, ESI stamps

A Bank Clerk is also responsible for marketing financial products of the Bank such as deposits, loans, and schemes.
