Eligibility Criteria
If you do not conform to the Coal India MT eligibility criteria 2022 as mentioned in the official notification, you will not be allowed to fill out the application form. For the successful application of any examination, you need to follow certain guidelines that are mentioned in the official notification, failing which your candidature will be cancelled. Coal India Management Trainee demands certain qualifications for the various streams. Please look below for detailed CIL MT exam eligibility.
Educational Criteria (As on August 31,2022)
In order to apply for Coal India Limited Legal Management Trainee exam, Graduate in Law of 3 years / 5 years duration from a recognised University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks is essential. For SC, ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates, relaxation of 5% is given in the minimum qualifying marks i.e. for them, a minimum of 55% is required. Also, Graduation must also be from a University / Institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India. Final year candidates can also apply however, they shall produce the final pass results of the minimum required qualification by August 31, 2022. Materials Management | Engineering Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 2 years full time MBA/ PG Diploma in Management with minimum 60% marks. |
Marketing & Sales | Recognised Degree with 2 years full time MBA / PG Diploma in Management with specialization in Marketing (Major) from recognized Institute / University with minimum 60% marks. |
Community Development | Minimum two years full time Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma of two-year duration from a recognised University/Institute in Community Development/Rural Development/Community Organisation and Development Practice/ Urban and Rural Community Development / Rural and Tribal Development/Development Management / Rural Management with minimum 60% marks. OR Minimum 2 years Full time Post Graduate Degree (from recognised University/Institute) in Social Work with specialization-Community Development / Rural Development /Community Organization & Development Practice/Urban & Rural Community Development/Rural & Tribal Development/Development Management with minimum 60% marks. |
Public Relations | Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma (Full time courses) in Journalism/ Mass Communication/ Public Relations from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks |
Company Secretary | Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute having acquired Company Secretary Qualification with Associate/Fellow membership of ICSI |
Age Criteria (As on May 31,2022)
The upper age limit for applying for the CIL MT exam is 30 Years (as on May 31, 2022) for General (UR) & EWS category candidates. However, for SC/ST and other reserved categories, certain age relaxation in the upper age limit is provided as per government norms. Age Relaxation
