A total of 2000 vacancies have been announced by SBI for the recruitment of POs. \u00a0SBI has announced the same number (2000) vacancies for recruitment of PO in 2018 as well. This is a golden opportunity for all those who have been waiting for this notification and who want to make their career in SBI. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, 1\/4th of marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. if no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.<\/p>\n<h3>SBI PO Group Exercise &#038; Interview:<\/h3>\n<p>Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the category wise vacancies will be shortlisted for the SBI Group Exercise &#038; Interview from the top of the category wise merit list subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score.\u00a0 Group Exercise would be for 20 marks and interview would be 30 marks<\/p>\n<p>Marks secured by the candidates in the Main Examination (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 marks and Group Exercises &#038; Interview scores of the candidate (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25 marks. The final merit list is arrived at after aggregating (out of 100) converted marks of Main Examination and Group Exercises &#038; Interview.<\/p>\n<h3>EMOLUMENTS offered by SBI:<\/h3>\n<p>SBI will offer a basic pay of Rs. 27,620\/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 23700-980\/7-30560-1145\/2-32850-1310\/7-42020 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A\/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances &#038; perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. SBI requires candidates to have valid email ID and mobile number which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will be essentially required for receiving any communication\/ call letters\/ advices from the bank by email\/ SMS.<\/p>\n<h3>SBI PO Guidelines to fill online application:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates are required to register themselves online through SBI\u2019s website and later download the Online application form available under Current Openings.<\/li>\n<li>First scan the photograph and signature as detailed under guidelines for scanning the photograph and signature.<\/li>\n<li>Fill the SBI Online application form carefully and once filled completely then submit the data. Once you submit the date no change \/edit will be allowed thereafter<\/li>\n<li>After ensuring the correctness of the particulars of the application form, candidate should pay fees through the payment gateway integrated with the application, by following the instructions available on the screen.<\/li>\n<li>The payment can be made by using debit card\/ credit card\/ Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>GUIDELINES FOR SCANNING<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The photograph must be a recent passport style colored picture.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure the picture is taken against light-colored, preferably white background<\/li>\n<li>If you have to use flash, ensure there is no &#8220;red-eye&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Dimensions: 200*230 pixels (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Size : 20 Kb-50 Kb\\<\/li>\n<li>.
